Thermoforming process

Innovative Thermoforming Process

Thermoforming is a specialized process we use to seal the interior of the paddle. We add carbon fiber materials along the edges and inject EVA foam, utilizing a novel thermal press technique to create thermoformed edges and an integrated structure.

Enhanced Edge Seal with Foam Layer

The foam-layered sealed edges provide a softer touch and increased control, leading to more precise shots. This makes our high-end paddles exceptionally suitable for intermediate to advanced players and various competitions.

More perfect process effect

Material Selection & Mold Creation: Choosing high-quality materials and creating precise molds for consistent paddle shapes.

Advanced Thermoforming: Heating materials and vacuum-forming them over molds for intricate shapes and designs.

Cooling & Trimming: Setting the shape with cooling and trimming excess material for clean edges.

Customization & Finishing: Adding custom colors, patterns, logos, and final touches like surface texturing.

The TRUMPF melt travel monitor turns off the laser after a certain amount of material melting during transmission welding of plastic. This improves the process monitoring and helps to balance out production tolerances.
